This entry is about the problems one encounters when making an illustration. I got stuck at the points marked in the figure and given me so much trouble if you no longer have been correct, but I have to follow because if I was continually redrawing. The problem is the absence of referenceswith references is easier to copy. In the end, I had to pose for pictures myself where I look for because I feel pretty bad draw from memory.

First, I have not able to translate the essence of the expression blow. I have painted several lips, but managed to convey the action when his face lost elegance and the same was true in reverse.

Respect to the hands, similar problemas, although the lower hand have to work much more.

I've also changed the composition of the lower balloons because the previous version, they took too much prominence respect to Figure.

Having reached this point, the first of these 2 pictures only difference is that the previous details are increasing and are shaping the contours. Working with a very large zoom working upwards from the the colors I already had, is a way to make sure they are not going out of tune the overall look of the image.

In the second image, after viewing the entire image (Ctrl +0) I am realizing that figure alone is quite poor so there is a problem of composition to be solved in later stages. Here I take up the idea, girl creating bubbles, this idea would justify a rounded environment. Although I'm not completely convinced, is a basis for further work.

ENGLISH TRADUCTION [GOOGLE TRANSLATOR]
In this step I have decreased the proportions of the head and I adjusted the brightness of the skin.

In addition, I modeled all the elements to acquire the desired volume such as hair. It is also necessary to adjust the background color to create the necessary contrast for easier reading of the image.

ENGLISH TRADUCTION [GOOGLE TRANSLATOR]
At this stage I added color to begin to define the details. Some authors like grayscale depth leaving the drawing almost finished but I am not convinced because the color is too poor. For me it is not the same a colored image that a painted a picture, this picture is a digital painting, not a digital colored drawing.

After the initial basis of color, begin to shape the body (chest, chest, abdominal, material, etc ...). The black line shows the folds of fabric.

Using a simile, is like drawing or painting cars automatic (simplified), has 2 speeds (high & low). Must differentiate and apply the correct speed at the right time.

In the early steps, when outlining the overall need to spend time forgetting the details and focus on topics such as proportions, rhythm, composition, etc.. Only when this phase is well built you can move to the next slower speed that allows you to work in depth details.

As commented in the previous post,
I was mistaken to work superfluous details. So i put the picture with a zoom that allow me to see the whole picture to work it in its entirety.

Analyzing the previous phase, we could say that the pose is a "stick", all directions are parallel and not convincing.

Body to redraw the line of action is not practically a straight line,
I went up the ass, twist your arm because i need a little visible space that allows me to better perceive the silhouette, slightly the proportion of the neck down the head, change the tension of the wrinkles in fabric in the chest area to visually directed upward, slightly change the direction of the upper hand so that it is parallel to the body, etc ...

Respect to the shade of the leg. In the previous phase was a shade sharper than we ran the eye until out of field, but in the new version is practically no shear and that shadow illuminated area appears at the top of her ass, this element means that when we visually the journey from the head down, the eye goes to that point of care, thereby avoiding the eye to go out of the picture.

It is not easy to recognize when you're wrong, but many times you do not get what you have in mind or you get lost along the way. There are artists who will make ok to the first, not me as many times are you so obsessed with a topic that you forget the global, or it may be lack of practice, or perhaps to be enlightenment and passing of reference makes illustration memory into something cold, or perhaps lack of concentration ....

The fact is that if you compare steps you realize that after the initial step and after an attempt to go deeper, you realize that the image has lost the initial freshness of the spots. This is the initial phase with a possible study of expression of the girl throwing a kiss. I like the simplicity of the spots and the simplicity of the message.

This image is show below after a little more detail and without realizing it, I lost all the initial beauty which had the image, chiaroscuro misused, slowdown and poor approximation of proportions. The body and the arm will have to work it well over.

However, if something I like about digital illustration is that everything has a solution if you work.

This is the first approximation of chiaroscuro. I like the spontaneity of the spots on the face, but the rest can see I'm not convinced and has lost the initial freshness.
At first, I wanted it to be pretty slim so I try a fairly long neck, but the body does not meet my expectations. Additional work.
